This past weekend Celia and I made our way over to Ouachita (pronounced Wash-i-tah) National Forest, just a few hours south and east of Tulsa. The cooler weather made for a perfect day of exploring the winding roads of Eastern Arkansas where cell service was in short supply.
I only snapped a limited number of photos, but I was able to capture some video so you could see the highlights from our trip.
By the time we made it back to Tulsa, it was after 1 am and just in time for the (surprise!) tornado. Fortunately, we only received high winds and some minor flooding, but parts of Tulsa just to our west weren't so lucky. The situation could have been much worse, and we are so thankful no one was seriously injured.
Anyways, hope you like the video and will be creating more on future adventures!
