Santa Fe Steam Engine 1108, known as The Mercy Train, transported supplies and volunteers to Ardmore, Oklahoma after an explosion at the depot leveled parts of downtown and killed 43 people back in the fall of 1915. After spending the last few decades on static display at the Hardy Murphy Coliseum, the Mercy Train was restored and moved back to the site of the explosion downtown at the train depot.
